Which animation course should I choose?
The right course depends on the software you want to learn, the kind of work you want to do and how much time you can give. As a starting point:
- You want to learn 3D from modelling to animation: Advanced Digital Graphics & Animation (Maya/Blender), 12 months, covers Autodesk Maya and Blender with a focus on modelling, texturing, lighting, rigging and animation.
- You want to master one 3D tool quickly: Master in Blender or Master in 3ds Max, 6 months each.
- You want to specialise in Maya: Master in Maya, 9 months.
- You want to animate characters in 2D: Master in 2D Animation, 9 months.
- You want to work on games and real-time cinematics: Advanced Program in Animation with Unreal Engine, 24 months, in three terms: design and visualization, advanced 3D design, and real-time cinematics and FX.
